First Look: Chanel S/S 2026

I don’t fancy myself a writer by any means, but today I had the joy of being able to watch the Chanel S/S 2026 show by Matthieu Blazy. My inital thoughts were that I didn’t like it. It wasn’t Karl Lagerfeld who was trained by the OG herself, Coco Chanel… but then it grew on me. The collection itself was dynamic and a statement bringing a modern aesthetic to the house and was very forward thinking. By the end of the show, I felt this is the right direction and a powerful statement. A breath of fresh air.
